Zoe Christian Fellowship Church

• Recently, I have helped out in a local church, Zoe Christian Fellowship Church, in the Nursery Department. This was an academic project, and I chose this church because of the diversity it held. This experience really helped with my ability to interact with diverse groups of people. It also helped me to get out of my comfort zone, and it also strengthened my ability to take on a leadership role in a group. This experience also helped me to open my eyes on how I could help in a community, which could help me in my future career. If I could do this project again, I would branch out more in my relationships with others from that community. 

San Bernardino County Political Campaign

• In the summer of 2016, I also helped out with a campaign for a political figure in my hometown. I was mostly in charge of helping to make and handout signs to the constituents in San Bernardino County. This experience helped me to get out of my comfort zone by talking to more people that I didn't know. This experience also helped me to become more involved and familiar with the community which would eventually help me when I open my own coffee shop.
